About Me.

My name is Dhanush Tipparaju, and I am a Junior at Purdue University studying Mechanical Engineering. I want to work in the defense industry and manufacturing process automation. I love robotics, aerospace, and spending time with family and friends!

Education and Involvement

BS Mechanical Enginering

GPA: 4.0/4.0

My coursework is primarily in mechanical design, and I plan on taking more classes related to manufacturing and automation in the future. My next academic goal is to continue my education with Purdue with the 4+1, getting an MSME, specializing in automation and robotics.

2023 - Present

Responsible Engineer

Purdue Orbital

I am currently a Responsible Engineer on the Airframe sub-team of Purdue Orbital. My focus is on the development of the Stratos missions, both the Mark Launches and the Numbered Launches. My ideology towards leadership is to help develop my team's understanding of key design concepts and promote their growth inside and outside the club by teaching industry-standard safety practices and giving them projects that utilize hard and soft skills commonly seen in the industry.
